Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Alabama
My daughter had been working within a store at the local mall since her high graduation (maybe 9 wks) the manager of the store was constantly calling her crack head, crack whore, white girl, also told the other manager that my daughter was stealing from the store, she had my daughter cleaning base boads on her hands and knees and would also have her to go heat up her lunch telling her she had to do it because she couldn't be left alone in the store since she was just a sales associate. The day my daughter quit the manager made a comment to one of the other associates that she couldn't stand "stupid white folk". She has had several people tell her to file charges against the manager but I have no idea if it would do any good. Should I get a lawyer & if so would it be discrimination? Also my daughter is a lesbian & the manager was always telling her how wrong that was.

You should have your daughter go to the EEOC and file a discrimination and labor claim. That is the first requirement. They have lawyers there who will assist.
