Re: Dui
You should certainly get an attorney, especially on a first DUI, because an attorney can probably work out a deal to keep the DUI off of your record. If you go by yourself, the judge will find you guilty, and impose a fine from $600 to $1100 for a first DUI, plus court costs. Plus, the judge can sentence you to jail for up to one year, order you to complete the substance abuse program through the court referral program, and suspend your drivers license. Find an experienced criminal defense lawyer who handles DUI cases, and see if he or she can get you out of this. Good luck.
