Medicaid planning is extremely complex and time-sensitive. I strongly encourage you to contact a qualified Elder Law attorney to discuss all of your options rather than simply relying on a Q&A board such as this one. The cost to meet with an Elder Law attorney is nominal but the savings are substantial.
