Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama
1 year ago my divorce became final after a 38 year marriage. For the last 10 years my exwife waisted every dollar I made and thus I asked her for a divorce. I'm 62 years old and have little chance of surviving on the settlement the was passed down. I have kept up the requirements of the decree but am finding myself in more and more trouble making ends meet. I have recently remarried and my income is not enough to survive on. The exwifes net income exceeds mine and she doesn't even have a job.
What kind of options do I have that could reduce the maintenance and support that I have been paying?

Petition the court to reduce the maintenance and support. You can do this so long as perodic alimony was ordered in the decree.
