Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

In 2008 my now 4 yr. old daughter was awarded to my father and stepmother thru Jefferson County AL family court. They were awarded pendent liet temporary custody based on a Dependency Neglect Petition which was about my then mother in law. Since that time the case has been continued 7 times, 2 that the judge caused. I only have supervised visits and have missed out on 2 years of my daughters life. I have custody of my other 2 children which were born after the 2008 petition was granted. Dependency has not been found and i have a court appointed attorney. It is suppose to go to trial, but the continuances keep delaying it. Please help What should I do? (Supposedly the judge does not have jurisdiction to change the visitation since dependency has not been found, but at the same time he made the emergency order in 08 state that i can only have supervised visits This is a private petition and DHR has been relieved

You need to file a motion to set a trial and that it be a special setting. Additionally, I would include what has occurred in the interim and request more visitation.
