Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Abortion/Child Support

My wife and I got married because she was pregnant. When we first found out she was we talked about different ways to handle the situation. I mentioned having an abortion. She said that she couldnt. When I asked why, if she had different view or anything on abortion she said, ''I have already had 2 abortions with previous boyfriends and if I have another I might not ever be able to have children.'' My question is this, If a man asks a female to have a abortion, who he knows believes in abortion and has had them before. Does then man have to pay for child support if he did all within his power not have the child. Do men, have any rights with this or just stuck paying child support for 18yrs for something they didnt want to do in the first place? Any info you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Abortion/Child Support

Under alabama law, in my opinion, you would probably still be required to pay child support. I would recommend that you consult one on one with an attorney to get a definitive answer.
