Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Adultery?

My ex-husband and I divorced in December, 2004. I knew he was in an adulterous relationship but didn't have enough evidence to prove it. On April 4, 2006, the woman he was involved with then and whom he is now planning on marrying admitted to a sexual relationship with my ex-husband during our marriage while on the witness stand for her own divorce/settlement. Do I have any recourse? Does Alabama have any laws on the books to support home-wreckers as I have heard some other states do?

Re: Adultery?

Once your divorce is over, you have certain time periods for Motions and appeals. Once those have passed, the divorce is final and the property settlement is set in stone. Matters involving minor children are always subject to modification. Basicly, you can't retry your divorce two years after it is over. As far as I know there are no home wrecker laws on our books. Usually you can have a conversation with most any local lawyer about this matter for little or no fee which is what I suggest you do.
