Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama
back childsupport
my ex-husband has an arrearage amount due. Since my daughter turned 19, and there is no current court order for childsupport, the judge said i would have to garnish his wages. If i did that, would he be allowed to file bankruptcy against this order, and owe me nothing?

Re: back childsupport
No no no. If he does file bankruptcy, you need to bring the child support to the attention of his bankruptcy lawyer, however.
