Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Back in October of 09 my husband which we were not currently married at the time was deploying. So I gave up a great government job and was fired because I went to see him because he said that it would mena alot to him. Since then he has been supporting myself and my 2 year old son. I have a small job up until 2 months ago because of some medical issues and i was preganant with his child. He did not want me working in the condidtion. Now because i have used his checkbook for things that have been needed. (my name is not on his account but it is the only availability I have to his account due to the fact that he has changed the passowrd on his online account for the 3rd time so that i can not look at it.). Now he is accusing me of stealing money and telling me that he is going to have me put in jail. My question is, Is what i have done wrong? Using my husbands checkbook because he and I both know that it is the only income that we have coming in? ]Can I get in trouble for having to sign my husbands name to a check to be able to pay bills?

You can't forge the name of a person on a check. Forging someone's name because you say you need the money is not a very good defence. Yes, you can get in trouble. Go to court and get an order requiring him to pay support. Don't forge his name on checks.
