child care

what do i need to do if the mother is moving my child to another state and i do not approve of where and who she is going with? we have joint custody and i want my daughter to stay with me but the mom is the primary custodian.

Under Alabama's Relocation Act, the mother has certain specific information that she has to include in a notification to you. You then have to file a suit in court to prevent her from moving and a hearing will be held on the issue. You of course need a lawyer to be sure it is all done properly.
