child custody , jurisdiction

i am moving out of alabama and my 9 yr old who has lived with me with no paternaty established . his father wants to file for full custody , where would jurisdiction lie

If you were never married and he never filed with the putative father's registry, he has no claim. He can file to establish paternity, but you can go ahead and move and if you live in the other State for more than six months thereafter, then jurisidiction will go to that state as the home of the child. But as of now, he has no claim. Move.
