Child Custody

If the parents of a child were never married and have no established custody agreement, what recourse does the father have if the mother refuses to let him see his child?

He would have to file a paternity action, be legally adjudicated as the father, along with child support order which could go back as far as two years. And he would probably receive standard visitation unless there is a showing where the child may be at risk while in the custody of the parent.
