Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama
child custody
My soon to be ex wife is fighting me for child custody. I have had my 8 yr old daughter the last 1 and half year when judge ordered mom out of house. Long story short, she admitted in court she is 3 months pregant by some guy she was living with, has no intentions to marry and wants to move 75 miles away and move in with her mother. The guy also has a past criminal record. She never told child physcoligist about being pregant nor the guardian ad litem who has taken sides with mom. I am very stable with a house that we have been in 7 years, my child has attended the same school for the past 3 years. The judge asked both attorneys to right a brief and he would make a decision within 2 weeks. What is mothers chances in this matter?

Re: child custody
Her chances are increased with the guardian ad litem ("GAL") on her side. Is there any way you can change the GAL's mind? If not, you need to get some professional (pediatrician, child psychologist, etc.) on your side.
