Child Support

My husband supposedly fathered a child (no paternity test was done)22 years ago and the ex-girlfriend has now threatened to file for back child support papers on him. She wanted nothing to do with him and did not him in the childs life back than does she have legal rights now? If he is the father does he have to pay even though the child is now 22 years old?

No. Any request for child support must be filed prior to the child's 19th birthday in Alabama.
