child support

i live in alabama and my child will turn 19, she is going to college and has a part time job is she still intitled to child support when 19 and still in college

Re: child support

She will not get child support, BUT. If you go back to court before she is 19, you can request assistance with college if she shows the aptitude for college and had the parties not divorced, it would be more likely she would have had monetary assistance for college expense. The court can order a part of the tuition, books and supplies to be paid.
