Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

my child's father took my son to visit his grandparents. he specified a date in which he was going to bring him back, but has not returned my son. he is not answering my calls and i have no idea when he is bringing my son home. we are not married, and he has not even been placed on the birth certificate yet. what can i do, i am getting worried. i want my son home.
