choosing where to live at 14
child 14 wants to live with mother in georgia.father has custody of him in alabama,does he have the right to choose now who he want to live withand want has to be done for him to live with mother in georgia.

No he does not have the right exclusively to chose where he wants to live but the desires of the child are a component in any change of custody to which a court may hear on a petition for change of custody. Other consideration will be given to the opposition of the custodial parent, the relationship of the non-custodial parent and the child, opportunities for the child, payment of child support in the past, visitation in the past and the relationship of the parties.
