Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

contestable custody battle

I am a father of 3 children. I have been to court over the last few years over custody about every 2 years. My ex wife files papers against me then drags it out in court through continuances. And eventually never shows up for court. I now have full custody. And now she is taking me to court yet again. With her never finishing the previous court dates.. and her loosing all her rights to the children. is there any way I can stop her from taking me to court every 2 years and wasting my time.. money not to mention emotional stress She also owes at least 2 years back child support.. She has never paid anything.. and still doesnt. Is there a way to keep her from dragging me to court over and over again?

Re: contestable custody battle

Counterclaim for child support. That should shut her up. Be sure to include the 12% interest on the arrearage.
