Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

I found out that my husband has been unfaithful to me. I want a legal separation. I do not want a divorce. How do I go about getting a legal separation and how are the assets dealt with?

The procedure for a legal separation is very similar to an uncontested divorce. You would file a complaint for legal separation in circuit court, and then file in your settlement documents. You should have an exeperienced attorney guide you through the process. Please contact me if I can help.
