Legal Age Child Can Decide Where To Live
Currently in Joint Custody Arrangement Children are currently attending school with the other parent. Youngest child is unhappy with arrangement, is failing school and would like to go to school with me. He is 13 years old.
At what age can he decide who he wants to live with?

in alabama there is no age at which a child can pick which parent he/she will live with. the primary custodian is determined by the court after it considers many factors one of which may be the wishes of the child.
