Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

i live in alabama and my sister in kentucky tricked me into leaving my son with her. she said that she wanted to spend sometime with him and that she would bring him back to me. well now i find out that she filed for guardianship and she tells me that i can come see him,but i cant take him out of her county. can she do this? and how can i get my son back?

You would need to go to Kentucky and petition for a hearing in the Court in which she received guardianship and contest the Order. You have a right to Notice of any filings and if you did not receive this notice prior to any action, any Order is more than likely void for failure of due process. By all means contact that court and find out when the next court date is, and if there is no date, request a hearing for failure to receive due process.
