In AR, you can not be legally married to two people at the same time. If you marry two people, it is bigamy. So, you would not be married and thus not need a divorce. I would make sure his first marriage was legal, and his first wife never got a divorce. You need to be sure that any property that belongs to you is in your name, or you may need to get an attorney help get what is rightfully yours.
