Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

I was married in the state of Florida several years ago. I have since found out that he was still legally married at the time (divorce to his first wife was not finalized). We separated a long time ago; do I still need to get a divorce or annulment?

If he is divorced now, you would need to get a divorce or annulment.
