Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

What do i do when my mother (childs grandmother) is the custodial parent, and sh

My mother has custody of my child. We both live in the same state (15 min. from one another). I work nights and I am home every morning until 4:00 pm. She works during the day. My wife (childs stepmother) and I have been asking to have my son over while she's working instead of taking him to a babysitter. I have two other children which are living with me. I feel that my son should be able to spend time with me and his brothers instead of time with someone who has of relation. Until now things were fine. I could see him if I went to her house. I want MY SON to be able to come to my house and spend time with me with out her interfering. *My son has asked to spend the night at our house, he has asked to spend the day with me and his brothers however, she makes every excuse in the book to keep him from being able too. The joint custody has never been enforced before, but I'm thinking I might have to enforce it to get time with my son. How can I do this?

You need to get an attorney and file a motion with the court to allow the visitation. If you are in the Mobile area you can call me at 1-800-297-1703 or 251-450-0111.
