Do I have the option of agreeing to temporary custody of my minor child in regards that I work on bettering my stability in the matter a noncustodial uncle has filed for custody.

You do have the option, but it may not be the smart thing to do. If you have custody, and a non parent files for custody, the parent (you) will have to be shown to be unfit for custody to go to the uncle. Once the court gives custody to him, it will be hard to get it back. You need to talk to an attorney!
