Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

I need to know what proof is needed to use adultry as a grounds for divorce in the state of Alabama. I have been viewing my husband's e-mail. From the e-mails, there is an indication that he is having and on-going relationship with a women. She lives out of state. He has told her that he is looking for a job where she lives. In a recent e-mail, he indicated that he is planning a trip to see her in August. He has told me that he is going away on business during this particular time. Are the emails enough to prove infedelity? Would it be worth it to me to wait until August and hire a private inverstigator to get proof? If the investigator does not prove a sexual relationship, but simply that he visited her and wined and dined her, would this still be considered proof of adultry?

In Alabama you do not have to use adultry as grounds for a divorce unless it is for settlement purposes that you see more of a property settlement. It is a waste of money for an investigator if you two do not get along any more as that is grounds which you can use. If you are agreeable to a divorce then it can be easily done. The only things to decide are house, cars ,debts, taxes and if there are any children. Please contact me if I can be of assistance.
