Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama
I recently move from Mississippi to Birmingham, AL. I enrolled my two girls into school. When I was leaving in MS, I gave my mother legal guardianship for school purposes only re: my girls. My girls then was leaving with my mother because I traveled alot. I moved to AL and my girls are with me. Do I need to reverse this decision? I would like my mother to still be the legal guard if something ever happen to me.

It depends on whether the custody was given in the form of a court order or if it was a piece of paper and an agreement between you and your mother. If it was just an agreement, those are considered valid for one year. If it was a court order, you have to go back to court to get legal custody.
