regaining custody

March 7,2006 I gave my brother temporary custody of my three kids,my brother had an attorney,I didn't,the judge granted my brother legal custody and I was given reasonable visitation.the first week i saw my kids everyday or phoned them but after the first week i was denied any contact with them and up until november10,2006 i hadn't seen them my brother let me keep them a couple of days and i haven't seen them since.My question is I have no money but I want to represent myself in getting my kids back and holding my brother in contempt of court.what do i need to do and how

If this is in Alabama, you should be eligible to file a contempt petition without a filing fee as you are indigent and you should be eligible for a court appointed attorney. Go to the court where this occurred and make your complaint.
