Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Out of state visitation

My husband has visitation rights outlined in his divorce decree. We have moved out of state and his son's mother states that he can only visit with him in AL. My husband pays child support faithfully, provides for other needs such as school supplies and shoes, Christmas, etc. She is now asking that he pay for private schooling. It is a financial struggle but we're okay with it. The issue is that because she doesn't like me, she will not permit him to visit at our home which is in a neighboring state to AL. Are there Alabama laws that support this or does my husband have a right to bring him to his home for visitations?

Re: Out of state visitation

The terms of the divorce/custody decree would determine who can do what. Decrees can be changed by a motion to modify, but the courts usually require a change in circumstance to entertain any change requests.
