Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Must I submit to Alabama Jurisdiction

My ex-wife lives in Alabama with my minor child. The support order used to be administered by Georgia. They did not allow the increases that my ex sought. She finally dropped her request in Georgia for child support and we handled it between us without the court. Then she went to court in AL and had the DA (her Uncle) file to raise the support amount. I originally went to court there, and it was a kangaroo court where the judge would say he would do one thing and the next day would sign papers doing the opposite.End result was my support amount tripled in about 5 years, and there was little I could do about it(yes, I was unrepresented).I quit paying AL and asked them to transfer the case to GA because it was a hardship for me to travel to court in Alabama, and was told by the AL Clerk(cousin) that she refused to transfer it. Now they have sent me, via the sheriff, another order for a case to show why i'm not in contempt. Do I have to submit to Alabama, and what can I do to get the case moved to Georgia where I can at least get a fair shake? At what point can they jail someone when there is no order existing in the state in which I live? They tell my ex they've sent it here, and i've talked to the Clrk who says they don't have it
