Alabama is a state where the judge in a divorce decides what if fair in providing support. Certainly, a person who was married for a long time to someone who is disabled, and can't support herself might well be ordered to support her. This is not cut and dried, all of the facts will be considered by the court before deciding on support. However, the bare facts you law out would indicate support for the disabled wife -- still it depends on all of the facts. (Who caused the breakup of the marriage, etc.)
