Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama
My wife of 13 years recently left me and our 4 children. She left me for another man, She left us just a few weeks ago. She has not contacted us at all. What should my next step be? Should I seek full custody, maybe a restraining order to keep her from getting our kids from school without my knowledge, in the state of alabama i think there i a law, where i can sue the other guy for breaking up our family. i don't know what to do next.! Please help!

You need to be aware of protecting the assets, which include bank accounts and property commonly owned. That would mean closing accounts or taking your name off of an existing account and opening a new account where you do business. You need to cancel credit cards in which you both have an account. Automobiles need to be protected if in both names. Then take care of filing for a divorce if that is the direction you feel it is going.
