Legal Question in Medical Leave in Alabama
12 weeks or 6 weeks
My husband and I work for the same employer. We were told we would have to split the 12 weeks between us. Is this right or are we both eligible for 12 weeks?

In my legal opinion this is incorrect. You are entitled to 12 weeks. Your spouse is entitled to 12 weeks. If they terminate either of you or refuse to allow either of you to take the 12 weeks, please call me as I would be happy to represent you in what I would consider a fairly simple case.
