Failure to pay

I studed my dog to a guys female dog. she had the puppies and he will not pay or give me the 250 dollar stud fee agreed to. is there anything i can do to get it?

You may file an action for breach of contract in small claims court in the county where the other party resides(though there may be alternative places to file the suit) where you may pickup and file the necessary forms and handle the matter yourself without having to be too concerned about not being a lawyer. The clerk's office is usually quite helpful and your case can be set in a relatively short time.
