Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Alabama

do i have any legal recourse against a check advance company that will not take my name off the charge off status even after showing them the receipt that i received from them showing that i paid it? i tried to get a check advance and was so embarrassed and humiliated by this company that i would like to know if there is anything legal that i can do.

A letter from an attorney would go a long way to resolve your issue if not, then you have the right to file a civil law suit which would be for defamation of character and other legal rights.
