How long until someone loses rights to property?

July 31st, my boyfriend and I broke up and he moved out of my home and back to Florida. Upon leaving, he said he'd be back in ''a couple weeks'' to get his belongings. It is now October 21st and all of his belongings that he left are still in my home. After a certain amount of time, does he no longer have rights to that property? If so, how long? Or what do I need to do to get to that point?

Don�t get into a big of a rush on this one. Make sure you take case on the status of your relationship e.g., roommates, relationship, or common-law marriage. Then, proceed to the following code to formulate a better understanding of your situation and rights.
