Legal Question in Insurance Law in Alabama
17 year old hit my car
A 17 year old hit my car. The car is in his grandmothers name but he lives with his parents. No one has any type of insurance on the car but I have liability on my car. It's not going to cover the accident. What steps can I take to recover my losses. Do I go after the owner of the car or do I go after the owne and the parents since he is a minor?

Re: 17 year old hit my car
I assume you have uninsured motorist coverage on your car? You have to have it in Alabama unless you specifically waive it. If so, I would make a claim on it and let your insurance company go after the one who caused it.
