Legal Question in Insurance Law in Alabama
Liability over Vehicle in Divorce Suit
My wife was awarded the vehicle we cosigned together onand all financial responsibility of it in the divorce. Upon learning of this, I caught up the payments and have made all payments for two years. She does not have insurance on the vehicle either. If she is involved in an accident and is at fault, can the other party sue me as well?

Re: Liability over Vehicle in Divorce Suit
If the vehicle is titled in her name, she is financially responsible for her own negligence in its operation.
