Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Alabama

emancapation laws

my girlfriend is about to turn 17 I want to get her emancapated but her parents wont let her work she is abused where she lives can she still be emanceapated??

She has to be 18 to petition for emancipation. If she is being abused she should contact the Department of Human Resources, or a teacher or some other responsible adult who can help get her in contact with them
