Legal Question in Employment Law in Alabama

my daughter was fired from her job today,there are 3 people that work there,one is a new person.my daughter was only one fired and accused of taking 600.00. the owner had no proof who may have took that money,she has worked for them many years but other lady only a month,my ? is,he said he was having her arrested by Friday if she didnt pay him 600.00. can he do this with no proof? and what should we do ? Thanks
