Legal Question in Employment Law in Alabama
Hourly Pay
If you get paid by the hour, is it legal to get paid only once a month?
(If you are classified as salary but get paid ??/hour?)
Please let me know.
Thank you.

Re: Hourly Pay
Sorry for the late response, but I've been out of town. This is a potentially serious problem. It could be a major violation of the FLSA if you come under that law. I would need a lot more information though to evaluate this. If you are hourly paid though then you are an hourly paid employee and not a salary paid employee and you cannot be considered exempt. And you should at least be paid every two weeks. Send me an email at [email protected] and I can perhaps answer your question in more detail.
