Legal Question in Employment Law in Alabama

Major issues with large company

I need advice or information on my rights as an employee..

I feel there are many violations of Law and the Corperate Policies of the Company. To name a few:

1. Hourly associate who has signed legal binding forms that are required by either coperate policy or law such as federal firearm forms, cash office audits, accident reports to name a few.

2. Been in a locked building for 10 hour shifts without break or meal periods.

3. Been as acting salaried mgr. job functions and duties without wage compensation and has had personal property used by company without reimbursement.

*There are many violations and abuses made by company district and other salaried Members of Management knowledgment inforced to me, and I need advice on my rights as an Hourly Associate.

Re: Major issues with large company

There could be some serious violations of wage and hour codes as well as OSHA rules and a variety of other issues. Unfortunately, you have given a rather vague description of what is actually happening and a more detailed response cannot be given. Please send me an email at [email protected] and I will be happy to investigate further.

I would add, that such cases are notoriously difficult to prove. You need hard evidence generally - numerous witnesses, and even video or tape recorded evidence if possible.

Time sheets showing alterations are also a very good indicator.

Please send me a note and I will see if I can give you a better more detailed answer.

Sincerely,

Sterling L. DeRamus
