My previous boss used profane language when he was upset with me, this was also done in front of other employess. He would also throw things across the office. I ended up leaving because of this.

Unfortunately in Alabama, few employees have rights over their employers. You cannot be sexually harassed, but merely because your boss curses, and even throughs temper tantrums where he yells and screams at you, is insufficient to create a cause of action for sexual harassment. First the harassment must be sexual in nature. It must also be severe and pervasive. In most circumstances you must complain to other supervisors or to Human Resources or some other department designated to handle sexual harassment complaints. You cannot be retaliated against for making such a complaint.
Since you are no longer working there you cannot make a complaint against the boss. You could still file a complaint with EEOC, if the harassment was sexual in nature - not just because he "harassed" you.
However, if he ever hit you physically with any of these objects, you could have a separate state court cause of action for battery. If he did that, I would recommend talking to a lawyer in your area. That is a different ball game.
