Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Alabama

My daughter has a live in boyfriend who won't leave though she has repeatedly asked him to do so. He is a paraplegic so I assume the laws may differ. The apartment is in her name. Please advise if he can be forced to leave or if she must leave though the contract is in her name. Thanks so much, Lisa

She can file a dispossessory action after providing the requisite notice - either 60 days or whatever is in the lease, if there is one.
