If the house I am renting is broken into and a glass door is broken am I or the landlord responsible for the repair?

The landlord is almost certainly responsible but it depends on your lease.
Unless there is language to the contrary, a residential landlord/tenant leases provides that the landlord is responsible to make sure your home is habitable and safe.
A door used for entry and exit that is damaged through no fault of your own most likely falls in that category.
