Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Alabama

I am on Section 8. The manager mixed up the lease with another person's lease--used my apartment number with the wrong building number and the wrong date on the lease's front page. She has been let go, but Section 8 won't pay the rent because they say they don't have a contract and the lease is signed one day before inspection was done. However, I signed the lease on the day of inspection. The manager made an administrative error. The new manager was requested to correct the lease, but did not and now I am being taken to court for non payment of rent. What must I do?

Are you telling me that the lease amount is not correct? Did you make your lease payments?
