GI Bill/Education Benefits
If I have an other than honorable or general discharge from the Navy am I able to use the education benefits of the GI Bill?
If I am discharged from the Navy with any type of discharge (other than Honorable) can I use the GI benefits as a dependent? my parent is retired military)

1. No, you will lose many benefits if you get an OTH. There's an extraordinarily slim chance of getting some VA medical if you have medical problems. To get Education money you need two years and an Honorable.
