Former Marine, Wants to Join Navy, but has a OTH
I was a former Marine that got a OTH in 2004. I spent four years in the Marines and was discharged 2 weeks before my EOS date. I want to join the Navy now, but I don't know if I can. I would like to get a answer

Re: Former Marine, Wants to Join Navy, but has a OTH
If you fully disclose the background that you have the Navy can decide to waive the bar to re-enlistment if it wants to. In my experience the military almost never does this, but you miss 100% of the pitches you don't swing at.
Do not hide or conceal your background as it will come out in your NAC and then they'll likely go after you for fraudulent enlistment.
Good luck.
