Question regarding my son
what can happen legally if my son is charged with desertion and given a field grade article 15? someone told him do not goto jaj because he would get courtmarshalled is this true?

1. It would odd for him to be given an Article 15 for a desertion charge, unless it's part of some agreement for him to waive any adverse administrative separation.
2. He's entitled, and is notified, that he has two or three days according to Army regulations to consult with an attorney before deciding to accept or refuse Article 15 punishment.
