Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Alabama

In 2000 I divorced my husband. We had purchased a house together in 1993, which had my name on it. Last year, 2009, he sold the house and needed me to sign some document, I think over to his name, so he could sell it. I didn't think much of it, and now wished I would of read the document in full. But my question is, do I have any legal rights to half the equity (or profit) made from the house from the seven years I lived there?

It would depend on the divorce decree and whether you asked for any equity in the house. If you did not, you are not entitled to any equity.
